Lets get a little bit sexy

April 24th, 2008

Sex Toys are now becoming everyone’s favourite topic of conversation and more and more people are using sex aids … and why not? A new organisation asked over 110 girls in April what their very favourite sex aid was along with other personal questions.

It was found that the most very favourite sex aid for girls was the vibrator, and they just liked it! UK shoppers were so excited by the idea of a big vibrator that many of them would use it straight after coming home from work. The best models of vibrator were the Jessica bunny vibrators as they help to stimulate the clit hood as well as inserting into the vagina.

The other discovery the new retailer found out was that the sex toy users just loved using their sex aid on a daily basis by themselves. If the UK women were in a good relationship they would use it with their loving wives. If you like sexual accessories you should try it with your favourite Bondage Equipment

The 2nd most popular sex aid was the exciting dildo. Dongs are similar to vibrators except they don?t have batteries or vibrate. Dongs come in all shapes and sizes from ten inches to twelve inches.

A new organisation found the best way to pleasure a women is to buy them both a vibrator and a dildo.

Using Calories For Weight Loss

April 24th, 2008

Ever wondered what a calorie is? The definition of a calorie is
“the amount of energy, or heat it takes to raise the temperature
of 1 gram of water to1 degree Celsius”.

A calorie is a unit of energy that is associated with food and
drink and is a measure of the energy, or heat, that food
produces as your body uses it as fuel.

The first step in counting calories for your personal weight
loss is to calculate how many calories you burn in a day (your
total daily energy expenditure), this is the total number of
calories that your body expends in 24 hours, including all
activities.

This is known as your maintenance level and will be the
reference point (number of calories) from which to start your
dieting.

The average calorie maintenance level for women in the United
States is approx 2000 per day and the average for men is approx
2500 per day. These are only basic averages and are usually much
higher for athletes or active individuals.

A quick and easy method to find out how many calories you
require per day for weight loss and maintenance is to calculate
a calorie value with a multiplier as set out below.

Fat loss = multiply your bodyweight in pounds with 12 calories
(12 x lb).

Maintenance = multiply your bodyweight in pounds with 15
calories (15 x lb).

This is a very easy method to estimate your daily caloric
requirements, but it has its drawbacks as it doesn’t take into
account your particular activity levels or body fat levels.
Despite this it will give you a good estimated figure that you
can work with.

The maintenance figure that you get is the amount of calories
that you need to consume to stay at your current weight. To lose
weight your calorie intake must be lower than the calories you
burn.

In order to lose one pound of fat per week, you must reduce your
weekly calorie intake by 3,500 calories, which works out at five
hundred calories per day. This can be done by reducing your
calories by 500 or combining a diet with physical activity.

The bottom line is to balance your caloric intake with the
amount of calories that you are burning, that’s the secret to
successful dieting and weight maintenance.

Becoming more conscious of counting calories in your everyday
eating regime is imperative if you are trying to lose weight.
Studies have shown that men and women “underestimate” their
daily calorie consumption by 500 to almost 1000 calories.

You can get a truer picture by keeping a seven-day eating plan
of what you typically eat and drink during the day.

At the end of each days eating, add up the total amount of
calories consumed and write them down on to the eating plan. At
the end of the seven days, add the total calories for the whole
week and then divide by seven, you now have your daily calorie
intake.

Using a calorie calculator can make counting calories easier -
you can total how many calories you will need for your daily
activities to give you more control over how many calories you
should include in your daily diet.

Another technique for low calorie eating is to watch your fat
intake as this has the most calories.

Moderation is always important when you are counting calories,
severely restricting calories, causes the body to lower its
metabolic rate, which reduces its ability to burn fat.

At the same time, hunger signals increase and you quickly start
to crave high-energy foods loaded with fats and sugar, the same
foods you are trying to do without.

This is because when you return to normal eating habits, the
drop in metabolic rate caused by the restriction in calories
means that your old eating habits actually represent excess in
calories.

Not only do you regain the fat stores just lost, but also you
may even gain a bit extra.

“Dieting by counting calories means that all foods are allowed,
nothing is forbidden as long as the calories consumed don’t go
over your daily calorie allowance”

Counting calories can also be flexible enough to accommodate
most busy lifestyles.

Some food for thought isn’t it; health professionals agree that
healthy eating which includes counting calories and a low fat
diet are essential for long-term healthy weight loss.

The way to lose body fat and maintain muscle is to have a food
program for life. Quality food and more energy output are the
basics you’ll need to go for.

What Every Customer Truly Wants - And How You Can Provide It!

April 23rd, 2008

It finally hit me this week what every single client, customer, person and patron truly
wants — and it’s not what we’re giving them. What we’re giving people is details,
lots of details. They come in the form of product specifications, a list of attributes,
qualities, claims, guarantees, and service promises. These are all great but they
don’t scratch the itch… they don’t satisfy the real craving that each person longs for
in their day to day experience.

That constant craving is for meaning.

Think about it. When we are born, we are all basically blank slates — empty
notebooks upon which nothing yet is written. As we go through life we sense this
blankness and we look to fill it in, write on it, doodle, draw, and color all over the
pages. In doing so our little book of life begins to take on the thing we want most…
meaning.

How does this affect your company, products and branding? This insight provides
an opportunity to connect with your customer on a much deeper level — an
emotional one. If understood, you can help them tell their story, strengthen their
identity and add purpose to their existence. Take coffee for example. Busy
commuters don’t drink the stuff at Starbucks because it’s convenient or cheap. They
do so because of the affiliation it brings them, the sense of belonging, ritual,
purpose, community, etc. In short it provides texture and meaning to what would
otherwise be a boring routine… driving to work.

So if that’s the case, why do we so often describe and position our products and
services in terms of their capabilities, functions and features? Does anyone really
want to buy a 6,000 pound piece of metal with wheels? Or do they want the feeling
of freedom that a road hugging convertible delivers? The strongest connection you
can make with your customer is not the tangibles you sell, but the intangibles you
instill. Build on that and you will build a loyal and profitable following.

I shared in another article how Rolex was not really in the watch business, but in the
prestige business. A quality watch demands a fair price, but the value of prestige is
much higher. If a company owns the prestige position, customers will often proudly
state how much they paid, not how much they saved. Why? Because the product
added a sense of meaning. If you’re continually being price shopped, that’s an
indication you haven’t connected with your customer on an emotional level, and
you’ve been reduced to a commodity.

In thinking about your company’s products and services, what purpose, what sense
of meaning do you deliver that you are not currently communicating with your
customers? Is there someway in which you enrich their lives, improve their
experience, give them a greater sense of who they are? If you can connect to these
emotional anchors, you will be building on bedrock. Your brand won’t be subject to
the constant cost comparisons that so often plague companies that fail to resonate
on an emotional, meaningful level.

As owner of a branding firm, I believe in enlightened marketing. I share
these insights because I believe that each of us has an innate capacity for brilliance.
And when I say “you are brilliant,” it resonates within you because it’s a truth, one
that is stronger than any adjective-filled copy. And the message is powerful
precisely because it’s meaningful.

For The Birds: Selecting And Placing A Bird House

April 23rd, 2008

Bird watching brings enjoyment to many people. Selecting and correct placement of bird house can attract many birds to your yard. The correct bird house can bring enjoyment and viewing pleasure from the comfort of your own home.

Selecting the correct bird house or feeder is important to attracting birds to your yard. There is a wide variety available from very decorative to functional. With the right selection you can have an attractive addition to your yards landscape and give your feathered friends a functional place to nest.

When selecting a bird house there are many factors to consider. Robins will nest in an enclosed bird house but prefer an open area such as a nesting post. Wrens and other similar small birds prefer an enclosed boxed structure. Many bird houses have small openings suited to birds like wrens. Many birds will not nest in a house that has multiple chambers preferring a single box structure. You can select a decorative structure to add beauty to your yard while giving your area birds an attractive place to nest.

Placement is important in attracting birds to your structure. Do not place your house near a feeder but try to place it near convenient cover for the birds. Near by bushes or trees will give the nesting birds a place to dart to when they sense danger. Many birds will not nest in an area where there are other birds or back yard animals like squirrels and rabbits. Feeders will attract many animals other than birds.

Nesting birds will seek areas away from the commotion of feeders and bird baths but these structures will aid in attracting nesting birds. Convenient water and food sources in another area of your yard will provide an easy source of needed sustenance for the birds that have selected you bird house to nest.

Do not face the opening of your bird house to the South or East. The direct sunlight from these directions will cause your bird house to be to warm in the morning and mid-day hours.

Try to mount your bird house on a pole or post rather than hanging it from a tree. A post will protect your nesting birds from back yard predators.

Keeping your bird house clean is very important to the health of birds that have selected your structure and to your family. Clean your bird house every spring. Remember to wear gloves and a face mask when cleaning your bird house. Cleaning will not only protect the health of the birds but will ensure your bird house can be an eye catching element of your landscape for many years.

Make sure to keep your feeders and bird baths clean and full of food and water. You may have to fill you water source a couple times throughout the day.

With thought, planning and a little maintenance the addition of a bird house can bring birds to your yard every year to give you viewing pleasure in your own back yard.

Gardening With Climbing Roses

April 22nd, 2008

There are roses for almost every type of gardening. So which do you use when you have some vertical space such as a wall or blank side of a house or even an ugly old fence just begging for the splash of color roses can provide? Why, you can use climbing roses and ramblers of course.

Climbing roses can be used on some type of support structure or framework to provide color upward in a vertical fashion. They can even be used laterally like along a fence by training the canes out sideways.

These support structures can be the usual pergolas, trellises, arches and pillars. But did you know you could also get some ramblers to climb up into trees?

It’s simply a matter of providing a good place for the canes to be tied to. To have a tree that ends up being draped with roses, you start with a hole about three to four feet away from your tree that you plant your climbing rose or rambler in (depends on the individual variety and how tall or long the canes will grow). Tip the rose in the hole with the roots away from the tree and the top towards the tree. Finish planting your rose properly.

Now there are a couple ways to provide the structure for the roses to grow up into the tree. One, you can provide bamboo canes tied on each side of the tree going back down to the ground on each side of the rose (you can tie them in a travois type manner around the tree). Or provide wires or nylon rope tied up into the tree to a strong branch. As the climbing roses or ramblers grow, you tie the canes to the bamboo poles or to the wire. Once the rose is well into the tree, it should grow on its own well enough without further training. What a sight that would be - a tree blooming with roses the summer long.

You can also do something similar with climbing roses growing up the side of your home. As said above, you simply need to provide the proper support structure for them to climb. Either use a trellis or use eyebolts with wire secured to them. Run the wires in a horizontal fashion across your home or you could try a fan-shaped version of wires for the climbing roses to grow on. As before, you will need to tie the canes to the wire or trellis.

Should you decide to use the trellis, you just might want to consider a system for it that will enable you to lay it, and the climbing rose attached to it, down on the ground if you should need to do repair work or painting to your home. Some suggest putting hinges on your trellis to allow it to fold down.

Another point with the climbing roses growing up the side of your home, is to try to keep it about two inches or better away from the actual side of the house. This allows air circulation behind the rose, which we know, helps fight the various rose diseases.

Cordless Impact Wrench - Not the same tool as your cordless drill.

April 22nd, 2008

The cordless impact wrench
is quickly gaining in popularity among professional mechanics
and the hobby mechanic as well. You may be thinking “I already
have a cordless drill that I use for impact applications, why do
I need a cordless impact wrench as well?”. I thought the same
thing. The first difference is on the inside. A cordless drill
creates continuous in-line torque. A cordless impact wrench
employs an internal spring-loaded pulsating cam to create
rotational torque. This creates the “impact” force that loosens
a nut. It is the equivalent to banging a wrench with a hammer to
loosen a rusty nut only a lot faster. Unlike a cordless drill -
which creates continuous in-line torque, a cordless impact
driver uses an internal spring-loaded pulsating cam and gear
mechanism to create rotational torque or the “impact” force.
Another big difference, is the lack of reactionary torque.
Reactionary torque is what you experience with your cordless
drill. You have to use brute force to keep your drill from
spinning the opposite direction in your hand. With a cordless
impact wrench, that torque is directed to the nut not your arm.
You can easily hold this tool in one hand and let the cordless
impact do all the work. No more pushing down on the tool to
drive that screw. These tools are also smaller and lighter than
a cordless drill. For example a DeWalt cordless impact wrench is
about 35% the size of its comparable cordless drill. This
feature makes them perfect for those overhead projects and
reaching into hard to get to spaces.

The next time your start that big deck project in the backyard,
leave the cordless drill in the box and grab your cordless
impact wrench. Your arm will thank you at the end of the day.

How To Find A Good Tax Accountant

April 21st, 2008

A tax accountant has been trained as an accountant and is able to inspect, prepare, and maintain financial records for a business or individual. However a tax accountants main focus is on preparing and maintaining tax information.

Tax accountants also advise businesses about the tax advantages and disadvantages of certain business decisions. Accountants must have skills in math and using the computer because computers are often used to make graphs, reports and summaries. Nearly all companies require that a tax accountant have at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and many even require a master’s degree level of education.

Almost all businesses and many individuals would greatly benefit from having a regular tax accountant. So how do you choose the right tax accountant for you or your business? Here are a few questions that may help you make the decision:

Is one-on-one contact important to me or my business? In this case look for a smaller firm. Or is a team of professionals better suited for my needs? If this is the case look for a larger firm.

Will I need advice in many different expertise areas? Or will I simply need someone to advise me in tax matters? If you are going to need help in a wide variety of areas consider a team of accountants, or you make sure the firm you are considering has network ties to other firms that could handle things they can’t.

How complex are my needs? Do I need someone just to handle tax returns and year-end financial summaries or do I need a financial plan, retirement plan, employee benefit plan or other tax related plans? Discuss your needs with potential firms do research and find out what they have done for other businesses.

Does the firm or individual have a good reputation? Ask for references, talk to friends and business associates, taxes and finances are a major aspect of your business or individual needs and you want to make sure you get someone who can handle your situation.

Is the individual or firm qualified? Make sure they have liability insurance and a supervisory body you can file complaints with. Make sure they are CPA’s or Certified Public Accountants, which means they have vowed to adhere to certain standards. Find out if they are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants or the New York State Society of CPA’s. If they are it means that they have had continuing education in their field and must undergo peer reviews.

Do they bring a proactive approach to your financial situation? Do they understand your goals and provide ways to reach them?

What do they charge? Make sure that their fees are competitive, shop around. If the price is much higher or much lower than other firms it may point to a problem.

Make sure the firm or office is open year round and that you can get help whenever it is needed. There are some tax accountant firms that close for part of the year.

Small Backyard Mini-Ponds are Low on Maintenance and Easy to Install

April 21st, 2008

Do you have a space in your backyard you would like to fill with a water feature? Most home-owners would like a large pond, but don’t want it so big that a child or dog could fall into. You also probably don’t want to dig a 3-foot hole either- recently, you may have discovered that your “backyard dirt” can actually substitute as modelling clay, and it has a similar composition as concrete. Maintenance is also another issue- do you have the time to nurture your pond, to keep the water clean, keep debris from falling into it, and to periodically clean the filters and pumps? Or would a 800 gallon pond quickly turn into a cesspool and attract nasty glares from your neighbours?

If you’re like most home-owners, you would prefer a small maintenance-free and easy-to-install pond. A small pre-formed pond is probably the ideal solution for you. Unlike liner ponds, preformed ponds already come in a pre-defined shape. Mini preformed ponds are typically 2-3 feet wide/long, and 1 foot deep. They are especially low-maintenance since the volume of water is only in the 30 gallon range, it is quite easy to periodically empty the water and to refill your pond.

Mini-preformed pond kits, such as Algreen’s 30 gallon kit, sometimes include a small watercourse to add the trickling sound of water to your backyard. They typically also the pump and pre-filter that is required to circulate the water, and to pump the water to your watercourse. The pump is an essential part of any water garden, because, without proper water circulation, your pond will rapidly transform into a breeding ground for mosquito larvae.

In addition to the pond, the watercourse, the pump, and the equipment included in a mini-pond kit, all you will need is:

  1. A carpenter’s level.
  2. Sand, to backfill your pond. In addition to backfill, the sand will also provide adjustable flooring for your pond shell, which will come in handy when you are trying to level your pond.
  3. A shovel, to dig your hole.
  4. A garden hose, to fill your pond with water.
  5. A space in your backyard that is relatively close to your house, to maximize its impact. Be sure to consider the slope of the land and to ensure that the pond avoids rainwater runoff.

Optional backyard water gardening supplies include landscaping rocks, aquatic plants, fish, and a fountain and/or spitter.

As you can see, water gardening can be made relatively straightforward with a mini-pond kit! For further information and tips about water gardening, please go to GardenSM.com.
