queen! Halter prom dresses come in about 10 different styles.
The metallic halter prom dress is a favorite and the material is
absolutely gorgeous. You are going to feel flattered with its
cut and style and impress everyone around you. How about a blue
chiffon dress? If you are a fan of “The O.C.”, you are going to
get the same reaction with this awesome dress. Imagine showing
up to the prom like a hot celebrity. The very sexy, halter prom
dress is made for someone who likes to be daring when it comes
to choosing style. It comes in many vibrant colors and has an
a-symmetrical cut that runs right down the side. Stop everyone
in his or her tracks with this stunning dress. The beaded silk
dress will make you look awesomely chic and sophisticated.
Imagine a jet-black color with a beading to add that extra touch
of sparkle. If you are a little on the curvy side, you will love
how this dress will do it for you!

Ladies, how about a pink, tiered halter dress. If you want to be
a gorgeous princess instead of the punk look, this is the dress
for you. The pink fabric is awesome and it is a very nice, cool,
knee-length dress, which will be great for the prom especially
if it is a warm evening. Girls, do you want to be the showpiece

sweetheart neckline that is as low enough to be decent and not
offensive in the cleavage department. It is floor length and
really makes a statement. Even better, how about a jet-black
color that is simple and yet effective, and top it off with a
silver brooch for that touch of elegance. The beaded halter gown
is a great dress especially in a pretty pink and would look
awesome with a “faux-hawk” hairstyle. Pair this with some
over-the-top accessories, and you will make a really glamorous
statement.

You are going to love the fuchsia, satin halter dress because it
is going to make you look like a rock star! And no, you don’t
need the budget of a rock star to own this exciting dress. How
about the ruched bustline all for around $50? Now that will make
you and your pocket book look up! The silk-chiffon halter dress
will grace you with that Ralph Lauren look that Jennifer Aniston
wore to an award show not too long ago. Jen chose to wear a navy
“buy”. Why not try it out in a red-burgundy color. Stunning!
Lastly, the updated, halter prom dress will give you the look of
a halter dress but if you want something more updated and fresh,
this is a great choice. It is black and hits right below the
knee. The skirt is A-line and it comes in many fabulous colors.

Office Lunches… Sans Sandwich

July 14th, 2007

(NC)—If carrying lunch is too reminiscent of school days, maybe it’s because you’re packing the same old sandwiches.

If your office lunchroom has a fridge with a freezer and a microwave oven, bring something different – frozen, fully-cooked foods that you can heat and eat in about 3 minutes. By preparing your own hot meal, you’ll eat better, save money, and still have time for a brisk walk at lunch time.

Here are some fresh lunch ideas that are easy to make when you start with new Schneiders Quick Serve fully-cooked chicken or pork. Heat these up and you are bound to be the envy of your colleagues:

• Teriyaki Chicken Wings heated with instant rice

• Hot sliced Chicken Breast Italian over crisp salad greens

• Chicken Parmesan; easily made by topping Grilled Chicken Breast with canned tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese

• Cordon Swiss; Breaded Chicken Breast topped with a slice of ham and some Swiss Cheese, heated until the cheese is bubbly. Enjoy with a fresh crusty roll.

• Heat Pork Loin Steak in the microwave and enjoy with a single-serving package of applesauce and raw baby carrots.

Break loose from traditional sandwiches and have a Quick Serve restaurant quality lunch at the office.

Online Blackjack Basics

July 4th, 2007

Online blackjack or “21”, as it is commonly
known, is by far the most popular card game offered in virtual
casino establishments. This page will tell you what you need to
know to get started.

The idea of online blackjack is simply that you want to
have a hand value that is closer to 21 than that of the dealer,
without going over 21. Other players at the table are not
playing against each other; every player plays against the
dealer, so your hand is strictly played out against the hand of
the dealer.

In casino blackjack the dealer’s parameters of play are strictly
set out, meaning that the dealer does not need to make any
decisions regarding his strategy. Basically an example of a
strategy a blackjack dealer would have is to keep drawing a card
until he has a hand of 17 or more – this is often described as
‘Dealer stands on 17′.

The value of the cards:

In blackjack an ace counts a either 1 or 11, cards from 2 to 9
are valued as shown and 10, Jack, Queen and King are all valued
at 10.

So as an example, if a player is dealt an Ace and a 5, the value
of the hand would be 16 (ace = 11 and 5 =5), if the next card
dealt to the player is 9 the value of the hand would be 15, the
ace now equalling 1 not 11.

If the hand is equal to 21 exactly, this is referred to as
blackjack.

The game begins by each player at the table being dealt 2 cards
and the dealer drawing two cards. The dealer will then display
the value on one of his cards.

Each player has an option of drawing another card (hitting),
keeping their hand as is (standing) and, depending on the cards,
they could choose from some more advanced betting options such
as doubling up or splitting.

The Heavenly taste of Chocolate!

June 10th, 2007

A delicious, mouth-watering piece of sweetened chocolate is a treat that tempts everyone. Whether it’s a delicious chocolate truffle or a double dipped chocolate nut cluster that just bursts with flavor as soon as it placed inside your mouth; quality chocolate candy is a treat that you enjoy and deserve. Chocolate candy, soft candy, chewy candy, chocolate and fruit candy are all available today over the internet at great prices.

For a quick energy pick up, consider chocolate. After putting your body through a grueling workout such as walking, running or bike riding, it demands bodybuilding nutrition. An easy, quick and reasonably priced way of fulfilling this need is to simply savor a piece of chocolate.

How do you show someone you love them? Do you buy them expensive gifts? Spend quality time together? Make personal sacrifices just to see them smile? Dedicate a song to them? Write a love letter or note of encouragement? Become their cheerleader? Those are wonderful things to do but my question goes deeper then those types of activities, even beyond your romantic partner. How about a piece of chocolate? There’s nothing better.

Stag Night Ideas

May 31st, 2007

Stag Night Ideas

It is believed that the concept of stag parties and the associated celebrations first began in Greece. Whenever any Spartan was to enter into wedlock his friends used that opportunity to celebrate the start of his new innings. There were nightlong celebrations that consisted of songs, dances and sumptuous feasts.

Today, too this tradition continues. Both would be grooms and brides like to celebrate the start of their new innings with style. In modern language these parties and celebrations are referred as stags and hens do’s. In the following article we would be discussing the different ideas that the bestman can employ and make the stag do a memorable event for his friend.

Stag night ideas

Choose exotic destination for stag night: In recent years the concept of organising stag do’s at exotic places have caught on. Being once in a life time opportunity one likes to celebrate it with style and if possible far away from his home place. You do not have to go far looking for that exotic destination; we at stagweekends.com give you the option of organising the event within UK and abroad. Bournemouth , Bristol, Edinburgh and Southampton are some of the most loved stag do destinations in UK. While Barcelona, Las Vegas and Madrid have emerged as hot favourites in Europe outside UK.

Have a theme-based party: After deciding on the destination you need to decide on the theme of the do. Certain tried and tested themes that have been popular can be employed like theme on superheroes, cartoon characters, chefs, James Bond series or sea pirates. You can also keep a prize for the best fancy dressed soul.

Make arrangement for stag’s favourite band: You can plan a surprise for would be groom by inviting his favourite band. This would definitely put the stag on dance floor.

Organise games: Stag and his friends can have roaring fun at the do by participating in well thought of games. Certain games like tambola, musical chairs still remain as one of the hot favourites. You can be innovative and devise new games.

Plan performances of stag’s bosom friends: The performances of stag’s close pals can make the occasion livelier and beautiful. It can be an individual performance or a group performance in the form of some interesting skit from stag’s life. If one’s creative juices are running at great speed then he can even pen down a song on the stag.

Bait-Hook-Reel-Release

May 21st, 2007

Most women are terrible at attracting men using
anything other than their looks. The more beautiful the woman
(and therefore the more necessary it is to find something other
than her looks to be interested in), the less she will be used
to using anything else. This was one of our more frustrating
discoveries over the past 13 years while developing this
model.one easy-to-use tactic to get you started is called
“Bait-Hook-Reel-Release”.

BAIT: Here use universal, general questions or hoops to
“bait” her into saying something that you interpret as being an
attractive quality. It’s like giving her a test where she’ll win
every time. For example, asking someone “what would you want to
be if you could do anything you wanted?” is a good “bait”
question, since everyone will have an answer to this and you can
arbitrarily interpret her answer as being very positive

HOOK: Let’s say that she’d want to be an actress. That’s
the hook. You will treat her answer here as a reason why you are
attracted to her.

REEL: Now we reel her in with something like “No way!
You want to be an actress? That’s awesome! I really respect
people who have the balls to get on stage and perform for
others. You know, your first impression kind of sucked; but now
that I’ve gotten to know you, I think you’re incredible.”

RELEASE: After we reel her in, complimenting her, she
will feel uncomfortable if you do not “release”. This is the
final part of the qualification. You do this by slightly
disqualifying her. Continuing with our example, you might say
something like “You are trouble for me, now that I know that
about you. You’re amazing. I can’t even talk to you.” And then
start to turn or move away. Done correctly, and naturally (it
will come off as fake the first few times you try it, don’t
worry, keep practicing), she will chase after you like you’ve
never seen. In our workshops guys who have never gotten hit on
by women in their lives get this glow in their eyes when, all of
sudden, attractive
women are pursuing them.

You may need to go through this process a couple of times with
different qualities to fully accomplish A3: Qualification. Make
her qualify herself based on more than one good quality that she
has. Try not to make it blatantly obvious; weave the
bait-hook-reel-release module into natural, normal,
conversation. And don’t forget the “release” step — that’s
where a lot of guys make mistakes.
